AVON, CT - Kirby Smart, Todd Monken, and the Georgia Bulldogs have one of the best quarterbacks in the country on the commit list.
No, it’s not Arch Manning or anyone else in the 2023 class.
It’s junior quarterback Ryan Puglisi out of Old Avon Farms (CT)
The 6-foot-3 205-pound gunslinger publicly committed to Georgia on October 16, giving Todd Monken a commitment from one of the top quarterbacks in the 2024 class.
Puglisi recently spoke with Christian McCollum of Irish Sports Daily about why he committed to Georgia and Tod Monken.
“It all started with coach Monken last spring when he came up to watch me throw,” Puglisi said. “That’s when the ball started rolling with Georgia. Even before I had an offer I knew coach Monken was a guy I definitely wanted to play for. We connected right away even before I had an offer. I went down to Georgia in June and that’s when they offered me. It was just a great experience. It was a no-brainer to commit after meeting the rest of the staff.”
